He came to my church on Easter and I met him and the family. Great friendly bunch of people and while I was talking to him I told him that he was the closest I will ever get to meeting Johnny Cash.They are amazing and not only did they play great but they gave me the day off because I normally run the soundboard at my church and they brought their own stuff :)

I want to highly recommend Allen Frizzell & Family to any church or Christian venue which is looking for ministry through music that will touch the heart and soul. Allen comes from a very talented family of singers and musicians. While he grew up in Country Music and had great success in that industry, today he and his family are ministers of the Lord Jesus Christ. Allen is not a Country Music singer who “adds” some gospel songs to his list. He is a gospel singer who uses his unique voice and style to share the gospel in song.

You will not remember me, but I was once a disc jockey in a night club in Lethbridge Alberta Canada where you once played a week-long gig in a nighclub where I was once the DJ at. We had many long covsersations and opportunites to have good times in those days when you were playing in that club called "Cook County Saloon" in Lethbridge Alberta, probably circa late 1980s, if I recall correctly. You came over to my place and signed my book about Nashville Music history. Anyhow, you were very gracious to me, and I was honored to have you in my home on that particular occasion. Bless you for your good will and the happy memoties I had for having you in my life for those few days.

Bro I was so glad to read you testimony. Isn't it wonderful that a loving and caring SAVIOR will take us clean us and most of all FORGIVE us? I lived the same life style you were talking about. I played the honky tonkys around my area and was drinking my self in hell. You know sin is sin in any scale I was sending my self to the same place you was headed, money or no money, it's not that hard to get there but isn't it wonderful to live and not die? I want you to know like you, life is wonderful, your music is great and by all means continue, and you will leave an undieing legacy for JESUS.
